I think less is more. The game will be better suited for human players with some points but not a whole bunch. If we have less points to use, we will have to make more sacrifices in certain skill areas in order to get what we want. That will create more strategy and thinking in the creation of our characters rather than getting lots of stuff. We'll be more balanced for playing and we won't be a bunch of super human players. It will make it more strategic.
